Career Paths at Saint Mary's
There are two potential career paths through health care,
clinical and operational.
Clinical: Current employees
and grade and high school students interested in the health
science career pathway that will take them through a clinical
track may want to consider these types of positions.
Operational: Current employees
and grade and high school students interested in the health
care operational career pathway that will take them through
a business/operations track may want to consider these types
of positions.
Following are descriptions of each job and the types of skills
and competencies that would be required. Employees, students
or members of the community, performing jobs that are considered
technical or patient care who wish to pursue an advanced degree,
will also find the additional education requirements for entry
to the field and examples of local colleges and universities
that offer these programs.
